- All applicants must be 18 or older at the time of application

- All applicants must be familiar with the novel(s) that they are applying to.

- All works will be canon compliant since this is a discovery zine (no AUs or non canon ships). 
‍
- Applicants may apply to more than one role and may indicate whether they wish to be accepted into multiple roles.
‍
- Before submitting your application, check that all links submitted are accessible (you can do this by opening the links in an incognito tab). Mods will not be reaching out nor contacting applications with broken/unopenable links.
‍
- Any NSFW samples need to be tagged appropriately or be in a separate folder.Portfolios are optional and are not required.
‍
- All works must be original. Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated. Contributors will retain all rights to their works and may re-distribute them (on social media or as merchandise), but only after all orders have been shipped.

- Please do not share any WIPs without prior permission during the creation period. 
‍
- Previous zine experience is not required. Applications will be judged blind and solely based on the samples provided. Bonus points for modern danmei pieces

- Reviewers need to have finished the novel that you are applying to review.
‍
- A single spaced 12pt Verdana sample review of any Danmei novel of your choosing no more than one page.
‍
- Reviews can be in any format as long as they contain a summary of the novel and any thoughts you have/why you recommend it. Sample reviews by mod gege and mod kuro can be found here [link].
‍
- 2-3 other pieces of writing (no more than 2k each) to showcase your writing style.

- 3-5 pieces that best represent your skills
‍
- At least 2 complete, fully rendered pieces with backgrounds
‍
- Comics and traditional pieces can be accepted (as long as they are scanned in high quality)

- 3-5 pieces that best represent your skills
- At least 2 must be merch designs (physical merch not required)
